One of the big highlights of this year was working with Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County to assist with building a house in Port Monmouth for the Henn family who lost everything in Hurricane Sandy. The work on the House that Youth Built was a team effort, bringing together students from across our service area along with the team from HFCF among many others, to build a new home for a well-deserving family. HFCF was happy to see many of the area’s youth volunteering to give back to those who lost so much.
