HFCF pledged $150,000
This new, fully approved project calls for the renovation of space into two private pediatric inpatient rooms. Also included is a new teen friendly bathroom to allow special space for teens on the unit, and an enhanced and expanded area for our family waiting room. It has been clinically proven that improved spaces such as these truly do correlate into more relaxed patients and families, which means better care for our pediatric patients of any age.
Design elements would continue the seashore theme the Pediatric Unit currently boasts, since a full renovation of this space was completed in late 2008. This seashore design also mirrors what our Valerie Center provides in their caring, welcoming environment.
In recognition of this naming gift, the two new pediatric inpatient rooms will each be named:
