HFCF Honors Jim & Heather Sperduto

Jim and Heather Sperduto have been avid supporters of every aspect of Hope for Children Foundation since its inception. Over the years they have graciously donated their time, talents, and resources to this essential Monmouth County organization. But what is most important has been their willingness to share their passion for HFCF with their extensive network of family, friends and colleagues.  Their continued widespread influence has significantly contributed to the overall success of the HFCF mission of bettering the lives of those in the local community, one child at a time.

Jim and Heather’s commitment is deeply rooted in their personal and professional lives.  Both have enjoyed long standing careers with ADP, a leading global technology company providing human capital management (HCM) solutions.  Jim currently serves as President of Small Business, Retirement, and Insurance Services where he is focused on helping over 800K small business clients achieve their entrepreneurial dreams by providing them integrated solutions for payroll, HR and benefits. Heather is the Vice President of Sales Operations for ADP’s Accountant Channel. She is a much sought after national and industry speaker, well-known for delivering unique insights on talent development, advisory services and business optimization for small businesses and their accounting professionals.

This dynamic duo has built a legacy based on their support of the community where they live and work. Yet each takes a unique approach to their community outreach activities.

Heather inspires us with her passion towards educational development in her charitable efforts and with her national reach in the business community.  She has been a long-standing Board Member of HFCF.  She also serves on the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance Foundation Board enabling women in accounting and finance fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential. Heather was recently named as a Woman of Achievement by Tri-County Scholarship Fund, an organization offering scholarships to NJ children in financial need to attend safe and value-based independent schools.

Meanwhile Jim embraces a different course of action. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.  He is proud member Notre Dame’s President and Athletic Director’s circle.  He is also actively involved with Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of business whose mission is to “Grow the good in business.”  Additionally, he devotes time as a volunteer for Hire Heroes USA where he helps transition individuals from the military to the civilian life serving as a mentor and coach in their pursuit of employment outside of the military.  Jim is also a supporter of JustinTime Foundation, an organization that is based on the motto to “Live simply. Be kind” while striving to provide timely support for children/ families who suffer the unexpected loss of a parent(s).

No matter how they manage their unique giving initiatives, Jim and Heather bring the power of a dedicated philanthropic outlook to their communities. They are residents of Matawan, NJ and have a family home at the Jersey Shore. Their sons, Luke and PJ, attend St. Benedict’s School in Holmdel and they are avid soccer players, surfers and die-hard fishermen.  The boys are learning the critical lessons of philanthropy as they grow up having a front row seat, observing their parents and learning from them as amazing role models who demonstrate basic core values every day.

Through their separate and combined actions, Jim and Heather have had a profound impact on the nonprofit sector at home and across the state and region.  Leveraging their wide range of business and individual relationships, they have been able to go above and beyond typical expectations to create a powerful groundswell of support that is truly unparalleled.

We are grateful for all that they have done for us and for all they continue to do!
