*Eric Hinds is a graduate of Villanova and is a Resident Director/First Vice President of Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch in Summit. Eric is a lifelong resident of Monmouth County and currently serves as the Mayor of Holmdel Township. In his free time, Eric enjoys playing soccer, skiing, traveling, coaching his children in various sports and being an active member in the Holmdel community. Eric was a recipient of The David Brady Award for Community Service at Merrill Lynch and was the Honoree for the 2011 Winter Glow Ball for The Arc of Monmouth County.
*Marybeth Walz is a lifelong resident of Middletown, NJ and is the co-founder of Hope for Children Foundation. She works tireless in her efforts to enrich the lives of families in Monmouth County and is considered a go to person within the community when things need to get done. Aside from HFCF, Marybeth is actively involved with helping many other charitable organizations throughout NJ, most recently working with pediatric cancer organizations in honor of her late sons Jude and Thad. Marybeth was honored by The Zocchi Charitable Foundation in June of 2010 and will receive the Thomas Rosamilia Inspiration Award from Stomp the Monster in March 2015. In Marybeth’s spare time she enjoys spending being with family and friends.
*Adam LaRosa is a graduate of Villanova, Seton Hall Law School and NYU Law School. He is a Partner at Argre Management LLC and also owns and operates Wine Academy Superstores and Canyon Runner Sportfishing. Adam is a lifelong resident of Monmouth County. In his free time, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife Shari and their two daughters Ariana and Alexa.
Chris Lindsey and his wife Jenn reside in Middletown with their daughter, Jordyn and son, Michael. Chris is a Partner at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services in New York City while Jenn is a stay at home mom. They enjoy the beach, traveling, and skiing.
*Karen Hinds is a graduate of St Joseph’s University and resides in Holmdel with her husband Eric and three children Eric, Connor and Abigail. Karen runs much of the day-to-day operations for HFCF. She enjoys being a stay at home mom, helping within the Holmdel community, playing tennis, skiing, and watching her children in their various activities.
Kristie Kane is another Middletown native. Besides being an integral player in all HFCF’s events, Kristie is intensely involved with other Monmouth County charities, including The Play 2 Win Foundation and the Hugo Pinto III Memorial Foundation. In her professional life, Kristie works as a social worker for the Middletown School District and also provides home therapy for at-risk children throughout the county.
Dana Battaglia is a stay at home mom. She and her husband Cary have been in Holmdel for 12 years, back in the area where Cary grew up. They have two children and enjoy giving back to the community through HFCF.
*Steve Coltrain Grew up in Middletown. Graduated from University of South Florida-Business Marketing. Director of Business Development at Stevens Communications- a Telecommunications/Technology Consulting Company. Volunteers time at Middletown United Methodist Church playing drums, Youth Program and Missions. Coached Wall Pop Warner and Wall Travel and Rec Baseball. “Teach a man a rule and you help him solve a problem; teach a man to walk with God and you help him solve the rest of his life.”
Suzanne Corcoran is a stay at home mom. She and her husband, Bob, are happy to be raising their three children in their hometown, Middletown.
Theresa Curto-Olsen lives with her husband Jeff in Manasquan with their two children Victoria and Nicholas. She enjoys being a stay at home mom and helping the community she grew up in thru HFCF.
Edward Walz is a lifelong resident of Middletown NJ. He has been employed in mortgage banking for the past 19 years and is currently the branch manager of Advisors Mortgage Group, LLC. In Ed’s spare time he enjoys traveling, hunting and being with his 4 children, Chad, Eddie, Sarah and Luke. Ed also enjoys hosting HFCF’s Lobster Parties throughout the year.
*Tiffanie Eagan Salerno was raised in Monmouth County and is happy to give back to the community she love so much. Tiffanie is a real estate attorney with a practice in Red Bank. She is married to Michael Salerno who is on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth County.
*Gabriella Giamanco and her husband Joe reside in Middletown with their two boys, Joey and Anthony and are expecting baby number three in the spring! She works occasionally at her family’s business, Messere & Messere.
Christopher Ippolito and his wife Brigid have three beautiful daughters, Reagan, Ryan and Fiona. Originally from Middletown, Chris is a history teacher and a writer and now resides in Ocean Township.
Stephen Murphy is a Sea Bright NJ resident and a digital marketer by trade. He enjoys a good craft beer and enjoys writing in his free time.
*Dawn Pakrul is one of the initial members of the Hope For Children Board. She and her husband Marc, live in the River Plaza section of Middletown with their three children. Dawn works as part of the Child Study Team in the Middletown School District and holds several advanced degrees and certifications in both education and special education.
Deana Pearly is a sixth grade mathematics teacher and tutor. Prior to teaching, Deana worked in the Wealth Management division of Merrill Lynch for over nine years. She resides in Hoboken with her husband Kevin, and son James and Alexander.
Sheila Piehler resides in Middletown with her three sons, Dylan, Justin and James. She has a Holistic Health Coaching practice, works with Usana Health Services and is a Certified Personal Trainer. Sheila is happy to be a part of this amazing group of friends and give back to the community through HFCF
*Pete Smith has been involved with HFCF since its inception. He is an Assistant Principal at Thorne Middle School in Middletown. A lifelong resident of Middletown he married Lisa Schutt in 2004 and has been blessed with three beautiful girls.
Heather Sperduto and her husband Jim live with their sons in Matawan. Heather is the National Accountant Channel Executive for ADP.
*Jamie Stavola is a lifelong resident of Middletown. She is the mother of two daughters and is very active in the community.
Lisa Uliano lives in Middletown with her husband Chris and their three daughters Marina, Olivia and Gianna. She is a CPA at Messere & Messere in Red Bank.
Pat Van Wagner and his wife Jacki live in Monmouth Beach NJ and have three children, Garrett, Leighton and Wyatt. Pat works as Product Manager for Bloomberg LP in New York City.
*Jessica Velardi is a founding member of Hope For Children. Originally from Hudson County, she has lived in Monmouth County for over ten years and is one of the area’s staunchest supporters. She is married to Joseph Velardi and they have three children. Jessica has built up her own successful franchise through Mary Kay.
Lisa Wassef and her husband Dr. Mark Wassef currently reside in Holmdel, NJ. They stay very busy working together in their practice, Glenwood Premier Dental Group. When they are not working, they enjoy spending time with their 3 young boys, Luke, Matthew and John.
