HFCF to Hold Inaugural Rolling Greens Golf Invitational

News Release

Holmdel – HFCF has announced its first annual golf outing to be held on Monday, July 26 at Bamm Hollow Country Club in Lincroft at 1pm. The “Rolling Greens Golf Invitational” is being held to promote and support HFCF’s mission of raising funds to make a positive difference in the lives of Monmouth County’s children.

HFCF has orchestrated a series of events that has raised significant funds for numerous worthy causes. These events are not meant to simply be fundraisers, but reasons for the all-volunteer organization and its many supporters to come together to celebrate life while doing something positive for the community.

With this in mind, organizers have put together a premium golf event that will include great golf, world-class fare and entertainment.

“HFCF did not want to host a run of the mill golf outing,” said Eric Hinds, co-founder of HFCF. “We want our supporters to say that this was the best golf, best food and most fun they have ever had at an outing. In looking over the scheduled program, I’m certain we will achieve that on July 26.”

The Rolling Greens event will kick off with a luncheon at 11:00 am at Bamm Hollow’s renowned banquet facility. Lunch will include beer and wine, and golfers will have access to the Bamm Hollow’s practice range prior to teeing off. Golf will commence with a shotgun start at 1pm, and drinks will be available at various point on the course.

Event organizers have packed the 18-hole round with contests and prize opportunities. In addition to golf outing staples such as closest to the pin and longest drive prizes, the event will also include a putting and chipping contest, a “Beat the Pro” contest and an opportunity to win a car with a hole-in-one at any of the course’s par 3 holes.

Following golf at 5:30 pm, a two-hour cocktail party will feature open bar and appetizers, leading to a sumptuous dinner buffet which will include numerous carving stations. There will be a special musical guest, dinner auction, cigar rolling and a professional photographer to document the evening.

“Our goal is to put together an event that both the serious golfer and the casual player will enjoy equally,” said Marybeth Walz, co-founder of HFCF. “We want all of our events to be a blast for our supporters and our sponsors, who could spend their time and money on any philanthropic endeavor, but choose to support HFCF.”

To participate in the golf outing, the cost is $325 per golfer and $1200 per foursome. To attend the dinner alone, the cost is $100 per person.
